CLUTCH CONTROL AND CONTINUOUS CORD LOOP

RECOMMENDED FOR HEAVY SHADES: The clutch system is a patented lift system, with a 3:1 gearing ratio to provide lifting assistance with heavy shades.

ONLY ONE CORD LOOP TO DEAL WITH: Standard shades have multiple lift cords. The CCL has only one endless cord loop, which operates the clutch. This loop must be attached to the wall with a cord tensioner.

THINGS TO NOTE:

WIDER HEADRAIL: CCL shades come on a 2½" wide head rail, as opposed to the standard 1½" head rail.

NEED TO ATTACH CORD TENSIONER:

The continuous cord loop must be held under tension in order to operate effectively. Properly installed, this is a child-safe solution to lift cords.

However, when deciding how to install, the customer should check that they have a flat wall area or area of trim, where the cord tensioner can be installed. On IB mounts, care should be taken to make sure the tensioner can be mounted far enough in front of the shade, so it does not interfere with the raising and lowering of the shade.

STANDARD CORD LOOP LENGTH (CUSTOM LENGTHS AVAILABLE):

Cord loops come in 1 foot increments, with a 3 foot minimum as standard.
Custom cord lengths can be ordered.
