HOW ROMAN SHADES WORK

2 ON 1 OR 3 ON 1

Multiple shades on one head rail are usually ordered for wider windows, or series of windows, where the shade may be too heavy to be lifted and lowered as one shade.

Dividing the shade into two or three, with a common valance, gives the appearance that the shades are designed to fit into one window space or to cover one window, but makes lifting the shades easier.

Patterns that are available up to 96" wide can be ordered as multiple shades on one head rail, with a common valance up to 96".

Some patterns are available to 120” wide and for these patterns the common valance can be made 120” wide.

Standard shades, CCL shades or shades with movable liners can be ordered as 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 shades. TDBU shades are not available as 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 shades.

There will be a ½" light gap between individual shades on a 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 head rail.
